Sewing In The Rain!

Is'nt it great to get a group of friends gather around a big table, in a nice warm room and sew while the rain and wind all happen outside!?

Well that's exactly what happened last week when the Secret Sewing Sisterhood got together for our "First Thursday of The Month" sewing session!
Deb and Meaghan where absent because of work committments........Oh! for an early retirement for more sewing time!

Barb had a little bit of "show and tell"................

Then, a little bit more...........
Whoops!!..forgot to do that 90 degree right turn!..and blogger will not help me!......so, everyone tilt your head to the left! I did get the cute back the right way up!!!.............well, that's my story!!!
After all that ...........a little of this!!...............and these!

Thanks Clare, for all your hard work in the kitchen to provide the necessary sustenance for your fellow sisters! It gave us the strength to carry on sewing for that afternoon!

Here is Sue working on her Hexagon quilt from Quiltmania and next is Di's version, coming along nicely. Now.........what is that part hexagon sitting on???.....could it be another project for that future book???Hmmmm!!! Ann is completing the Broderie Perse for the Antique Wedding Sampler: revisited, Merri was also working on her version and me? I was stitching the 2nd panel in the "Deb's Not Quite Telling The Truth, Easy Applique Quilt"!!.........which is coming along quite nicely.................................and Clare??........Clare was busy booking flights and tickets to the Sydney quilt show in July. Maybe some of us might just see you there!
Meanwhile Happy Stitching!
